Mighty Mighty MIT

Hello there!
So it's been a very special week in my life. One full of surprises and enjoyment. Full of happiness and hope. And of course, full of rain.

Its been one week in my college at Manipal Institute Of Technology, Mahe.

So, this is one of the premier private institutions of this country with state of the art infrastructure and facilities. The hostels are great (only an ounce less than a 3star hotel). The rest 2 stars are a part of Asia's biggest indoor sports complex known as the Marena and the modern central library and laboratories.
Not to mention the incredibly big food court that offers chicken every alternate day, but also a different set of small restaurants that serve you international food at an affordable price.
The common misconception about this place is that it houses a sect of students that are into drugs and other substance abuse. Well, face the harsh reality, dear readers. This happens in every institute in India. It's just that the IITs and NITs are much too arrogant to reveal any kind of details about their hostel life other than that of remarkable breakthroughs in the field of science and tech.
Well talking about breakthroughs, did you know about the formula one racing cars designed by our students that actually race in the Grand Prix? Or how about the nano satellite designed by the students here that is due to launch this coming year in a project guided by ISRO?
Well, I don't term this remarkable. I term it legendary.

So, I'm going to do Computer Science Engineering here.
Not because it's one of the most respected and reputable branches. But because I honestly enjoy it.

So, I'm gearing up for an eventful and colourful wave of 4 years here.
I seek thy blessings.

CBSE Class XII Chemistry Project

Hey there!

Here I have shared my chemistry project that I made in class XII.
If you're preparing for class XII boards, I'd suggest that you revise theory repeatedly and stick to NCERT. Rest all is not really needed.

Good luck! :)

The Beginning Of A New Journey

Hello there!

Well it really has been quite a while since I put another blog post, but, well, here I am! :)

The past one month has been a pure whirlwind... Every day I did something new and different. Now that I finally found freedom, my body was active and I wanted to try as many things as possible. But alas! All I ended up doing ultimately was...

Shopping.

Yup, this is one big disadvantage when one's gearing up for college. Shopping for party-wear is still fun! You get to try out your favourite clothes and try new stuff. But college is not party my friends.
Well, at least for me, it isn't.

So trying out boring kurtis took up most of my time.

Sure, I did visit my family and relatives in my hometown in Assam. It was a really nice experience as I went all alone. No one to boss around, I was my own master of awesomeness.

So I had tons of fun with my cousins. Caught a few movies together, went to a few lakeside resorts, went for long drives and played ludo and cards. 10 fun-filled days breezed along and I was left gasping for more! And I eventually found myself on a plane back to home sweet home, New Delhi.
< Thankfully my mom dad had already done the most boring part of college shopping, i.e, utensils and pegs and ropes and blah blah>

Now that I came back, shopping cycles took over again, this time with another load of stuff to be bought for my uncle, aunt and my little cousin in America, as my grandparents were visiting them later in July.

Now, only 3 days are left before I leave for college down south. I wonder, how life would be, without my mom, my dad and of course, my little bro.
To whom shall I complain about headaches? Or with whom shall I pick petty fights? My ice-cream treats, momos and rolls outings, mall visits with mom... Gosh! How shall I survive 4 years without all this?
If this ain't enough, no more t.v time for myself! Everyone in my hostel would probably watch stupid shows like Roadies and Splitsvilla and what not. No more of my Vh1 Rock Rules or World Stage. No more movie premiers on HBO or Star Movies...

But... Now that I think of it, I will have tons of other much more interesting stuff to do!
I will explore my favourite place of any institution, the Library! I've heard they have a rather grand and a hi-tech one.
I will probably be busy doing research for my papers or studying for sessional.
I'll look for other new people like me who aren't a part of the wannabe flock and make friends.
At other times, in case I get extremely bored, I might catch a bus and go visit Mangalore with them!

So my point is, college doesn't seem a bad prospect afterall. Sure, it has its own share of ups and downs, but ultimately, its what we make of it that matters.

With this note, I'm signing off.

See you guys in college. Ciao!
